BlogTour 2011

Modenus, the online design resource, is organizing BlogTour2011. Veronika Miller, CEO of Modenus, has skillfully coordinated a venue for MMPI (Merchandise Mart Properties Inc. – the producers of the Architectural Digest Home Design Show) and to join as media partners and bring a group of design bloggers from the US and Canada to London for the London Design Festival in September.  What fun!

Veronika says, “We organized Blogtour in response to the extraordinary amount of digital buzz we saw coming from the bloggers we had worked with in the past and we wanted to create an initiative that would bring bloggers to the main trade shows but also allow enough space for them to explore the wealth of design on display at smaller venues so they can provide their readers and social media following with a first hand look at the festival, in what is a bloggers signature style: Enthusiastic, vibrant and chock full of personality.”

Congratulations to Veronika for seeing a need and providing a way to make it happen. Keep watch for lots more from BlogTour2011. Here is a list of the design bloggers who will be going:

  1. Hi Marcy,

thank you so much for your kind post , I’ll be sure to let the BlogTour bloggers know that you’ve mentioned them all. I hope we can provide lots of inspiration from London and look forward to seeing you on one of our future trips.

    Love, V

Hey V, take a look at our fabulous coverage of Hurricane Irene from Dayton, Ohio.

If we can provide this great coverage from 700 miles away, think what we could do for BlogTour 2011 from 10,500 miles away! The coverage would be amazing. Can we get a press pass? 🙂

Enjoy the show. Great list of bloggers!

  3. Yes, Marcy! Thanks so much for sharing the news of this great event. I hope you follow along on the journey on and our facebook and twitter pages!
